Jean and Derek are lovely hosts. Transport is provided to and from the pub and the The Dale has the most comfortable beds on the Pennine Way.

The facilities are basic but Nancy is very welcoming and is an excellent cook. Great value!

The Border Hotel

A worthwhile bit of luxury at the end of a long trip. The free drink was a surprise.
